Take part in the Open for Business Festival and visit the Print & Signage Expo
Non-profit business incubator Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship is set to launch the city’s first Open for Business Festival.
The festival provides a platform for entrepreneurs to market their goods or services to their community and network with Branson Centre peers in a friendly environment to help drive sales.
The first of three festivals kicks off at the Katlehong Art Centre on 8 September from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be loads of entertainment and one participating entrepreneur will be selected to join the Branson Centre and receive invaluable training, one-on-one mentoring and business tools to help them grow – for free.
Only 40 spaces are open. R100 books a stand. Contact Lebo Molefe on 073 348 6996 or info@lifesgud.com by 31 August. For more information visit: www.bransoncentre.org.za
The Print & Signage Expo is at the Sandton Convention Centre from 22-24 August. It presents the latest technology and equipment in the printing and signage industries.
Start-up costs in this industry are reasonably low, providing entrepreneurs the opportunity for easy entry.
Experts will provide valuable insights into building up a business, which hosts annual expos and produces publications for the industry in all the major SA cities.
The expo will also give participants a chance to display their artistic skills by taking part in a car wrapping competition.
Entrance is free. For more information, visit: www.africaprintexpo.com
