While some women may be more than fussy others, there are certain things very few women will tolerate. Here’s how not to chase your date away…
There is no fail-proof method to ensuring that a date goes smoothly but avoiding these pitfalls is a good place to start.
Fake it doesn’t make it
There is nothing more unattractive than pretentious, fake people. If you’re trying to be something you aren’t, it will just fall flat. While it may be cliché, your best bet is just to be yourself and your good qualities will reveal themselves.
When getting to know your date, avoid rambling on about wealth, materialistic possessions and your accomplishments. Tell her about yourself but also take the time to listen and engage her. Show an interest and don’t stare at her cleavage!
Hygiene is non-negotiable
Regardless of how sexy, smart or rich you may be; if you neglect your hygiene you will send women running. Ensure that take a shower, use deodorant, wear clean clothing have fresh breath. Similarly, if you plan to take your date back to your place, ensure that it’s presentable. Nothing is more off putting than a bin overflowing with rubbish or a pile of toenail clippings on the floor. Clean up!
Social ineptitude
Simply put, don’t be a jerk. Mind your table manners and be courteous to waiters and bar staff. Avoid any jokes that may be considered in bad taste and mind your language.
Don’t bare your soul on the first few dates, some mystery is good. Women generally want to take it slow, at least in the beginning, so wait a few dates before you start talking babies and mortgages.
Another downer is someone who bangs on about their exes. Don’t run them down as it will lead your date to believe that you aren’t over your ex; or you simply speak poorly about women you’ve been with, which would leave her questioning what you would say about her.
