Following on from the successes of the I Art Woodstock and I Art Soweto community art projects in 2011, Adidas Originals have just launched a new project in the Maboneng Precinct called I Art Joburg.
During September five world-renowned artists - Steve "Espo" Powers (New York), Remed (Madrid), Roa (Belgium), Martha Cooper (New York) and Cameron Platter (Durban) - painted six large-scale murals in and around the Maboneng Precinct in an effort to educate, beautify and uplift the area.
