When will the Olympics groundwork begin?
BOOKMARKS

It would seem there have not been any lessons learned by South Africa when it comes to planning for continental or world championships.

The current Technical Director Serame Letsoaka is out on coaching duty at the insignificant African Nations Championships a continental tournament designed especially for playing plying their trade within African borders.

One wonders then who is left to do the groundwork for the 2012 Olympic Games and more importantly when the U23 technical team will finally be announced.

After the SA Under-20 team, Amajita’s performance at the FIFA U20 World Cup, one can be tempted to argue that things look good. The sad truth is that South Africa did not even progress past the group stages in the competition despite putting up a brave fight.

It is thus clear then that a ‘brave’ performance is not enough, so when does Letsoaka plan to analyse the results of that tournament and start preparations for an improved performance at the Olympics?
